Terms of use
Last updated 23 September 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using SafeWallet (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
SafeWallet is a custodial wallet. Token balances shown in your account are records in our internal ledger. We hold and control the underlying assets on your behalf; you do not hold private keys.
You can receive tokens from other users, send tokens to other users or external wallet addresses, and convert between supported tokens. All values are displayed in US dollars for reference and are based on third-party market prices that may be delayed or inaccurate.
3. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your password and two-factor authentication device secure, and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at support@safe-wallet.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Transfers, withdrawals and approvals
Transfers and withdrawals may be reviewed and must be approved by an administrator before they are processed. We may hold, reject or reverse any transaction, including for security, compliance or operational reasons. If we reject or reverse a transaction we will show you the reason in your account.
Funds for a pending request are set aside and cannot be used elsewhere until the request is completed or rejected. Once a transaction is completed on the blockchain it cannot be undone by us.
5. Swaps and fees
Swaps are executed at the reference price shown when you confirm, less any swap fee displayed at that time. Prices can change between the quote and confirmation. Fees and limits are shown in the Service and may change from time to time.
6. Frozen and suspended accounts
We may freeze or suspend an account, and restrict sending, withdrawing or swapping, where we believe it is necessary to protect you, other users, or the Service, or to comply with law. While an account is frozen you can still sign in and view your balances and history.
7. Prohibited use
You must not use the Service for unlawful activity, fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or to interfere with the Service or other users. We may report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.
8. Risks
Crypto-assets are volatile and their value can fall as well as rise. Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. You are solely responsible for your decisions and for any taxes that apply to you.
9. Availability and liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including network congestion, third-party outages and market movements.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published on this page. You may close your account at any time after withdrawing your assets. We may terminate or restrict access if you breach these terms.
