Privacy policy

SafeWallet (“we”, “us”) provides a custodial crypto wallet. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it.

Account data: your name, username, email address, profile photo (optional) and a securely hashed password.

Wallet and transaction data: your token balances, transfers, withdrawals, swaps, notes you add, and the related timestamps and reference numbers.

Support chat: if you use our live chat, your messages and the name and email on your account are processed by our chat provider (Smartsupp) so our team can help you.

Security and technical data: IP address, browser and device information, session records and authentication events, used to keep your account safe.

To provide and operate the Service, process and review transactions, keep records, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, contact you about your account, and improve the Service.

We send service emails such as verification, password reset and transaction notices. You can turn off optional notifications in Settings.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service (for example hosting, database and email providers), where the law requires it, or to protect our rights and users.

Other users can see your name or username and your platform ID when you send or receive tokens with them.

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is open and afterwards for as long as needed for legal, accounting and security purposes. Ledger records are append-only and are not deleted.

We use hashed passwords, secure session cookies, optional two-factor authentication, access controls, and an audit trail of administrative actions. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to certain processing. You can update your profile in Settings, or contact us at support@safe-wallet.app. Some records must be kept by law.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect your session. We do not use advertising cookies.
